ASEAN Region - Press Review | Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung Southeast Asia

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, and dear Friends of Southeast Asia,

For several years already, the Heinrich Boell Foundation's regional office in Bangkok has been following the political development in Southeast Asia. And since 2016, we have established partnerships in the entire ASEAN region to support concrete activities in the area of democracy and ecology (www.th.boell.org).

Part of our political observation includes a monthly overview of regional and international news media that, in addition to the current political developments, also covers discussions about human rights, migration, democracy, digital rights and freedom of speech. Furthermore, there is a special focus on energy and climate policy, as well as on the social and environmental impacts of large infrastructure projects.
