Gerakan Samin atau Wong Sikep atau Sedulur Sikep yang telah berjuang melawan ekspansi perusahaan semen di Jawa Tengah sejak tahun 2006 adalah bagian dari gerakan millenarian berbasis petani yang lebih besar (dan terpanjang) di Asia Tenggara (dan Jawa). Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini meluncurkan penyelidikan ke dalam karakter paling penting dari gerakan millenarian adalah untuk bertahan dalam ujian waktu.

The Samin or Wong Sikep or Sedulur Sikep Movement that has been struggling against cement companies' expansion in Central Java since 2006 is a part of a larger (and longest) peasant-based millenarian movement in Southeast Asia (and Java).
