Dr. Thanikun Chantra is a lecturer at the International Development Program, School of Social Innovation, Mae Fah Luang University, Chiang Rai, Thailand. She has been researching on the topic of political participation, peace and conflict in southern Thailand, as well as development, natural resource, and disaster management. Dr. Thanikun Chantra holds PhD in Political Science from the School of Language, Social and Political Science, University of Canterbury, New Zealand
