Francis Uldric San Juan
Climate Researcher

Francis Uldric San Juan is a climate researcher specializing in loss and damage, climate education, and the decolonization of climate science and sustainable development. A Research Assistant at the Klima Center – Manila Observatory, he has contributed to projects on indigenous responses to climate change, climate justice, Enhanced Transparency Framework reporting, and flood risk governance in Marikina City. He also acts as the Training Specialist of the World Climate Research Programme Academy. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology Degree at the University of the Philippines-Diliman, where he wrote about flood risk governance and grassroots perspectives for his thesis.
