Dr. Doreen Allasiw is a faculty member at Benguet State University (BSU) specialising in sustainability science, science communication, and field-based research. Her extensive research on indigenous local knowledge and community-based institutions informs her teaching, enabling students to apply research methods in culturally grounded contexts. She remains active in field studies on climate change, risk communication, and sustainable community development. Dr. Allasiw also serves as Deputy Director of the BSU-International Relations Office, advancing academic partnerships and global engagement.
