Natalino Guterres
Natalino Guterres is a human rights activist from Timor-Leste and President of the Board of Fundasaun CODIVA, the national umbrella network of LGBTQIA+ organizations. He co-founded Hatutan, a youth movement promoting social inclusion and equality, and in 2017 led the organization of Timor-Leste’s first Pride March, helping establish an annual Pride movement in the country. In 2023, he became the first openly queer candidate for the National Parliament in Timor-Leste, running on the list of the historic FRETILIN party. He previously served as Social Inclusion Adviser for the revision of Timor-Leste’s Strategic Development Plan, led by the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and the Ministry of Planning and Territory.
