Fathi Rayyan graduated with a degree in International & Strategic Studies from University of Malaya and continued working in a professional services firm, providing research support on key issues such as sustainability. In 2020, he joined Malaysian Youth Delegation (MYD), a youth-led organisation focusing on climate change policy and negotiations. At the time of publication, he co-coordinates MYD’s Policy & Research team. His research interests focus broadly on environmental politics, climate policy and governance, citizen participation, and private sector engagement.
