The Heinrich Böll Stiftung is the German Green Political Foundation. Affiliated to the "Alliance '90 / The Greens" political party represented in Germany's federal parliament and based in Berlin, it conducts and supports civic educational activities worldwide.

The Heinrich Böll Foundation is part of the Green political movement that has developed worldwide as a response to the traditional politics of socialism, liberalism, and conservatism. Our main tenets are ecology and sustainability, democracy and human rights, self-determination and justice. We are a Green think tank and an international policy network.

We cooperate with partners who share our aims.

The Heinrich Böll Foundation grants scholarships to approximately 1,000 undergraduates, graduates, and doctoral students of all subjects and nationalities per year.

The Heinrich Böll Foundation operates in Thailand since 2000. This is our current work focus and team.

The Heinrich Böll Foundation is working together with more than 100 partner projects in 60 countries and maintains offices in 30 countries. Approximately half of the fundings goes to projects worldwide.
